A WAY WRITTEN IN THE SKY

So Hércules was able to reach the Atlantic island, and kill the dog Orto

The hero killed the shepherd Euritión too, and helped by Menecio, shepherd of the Hades, pierced with an arrow Geryon and stole the cows of the Milky Way

This happened in his tenth labor. The third century BC luso-galician long crossbar fibula (lost), so called Braganza’s Brooch purchased by the British Museum, for one million two hundred thousand pounds. The iconographical program represents, pars pro toto, the twelve labors of Hercules.

The General Chronicle of king Alfonso X “The Wise” (XIII century) recounts that when the giant Geryon terrorized the people of this land, Hercules came to help them. after three days of fighting Hercules defeated and slew the giant.

He buried his head on a hill on which he set up the Tower of Brigantia

Insulae Deorum “Island of the Gods”, the name for the Cies Islands … the ‘Fortunate Islands “the Canaries, Madeira and Cape Verde”, also the Brittia island of Procopius, etc.

PART THREE

THREE STEPS OF THE SUN

The sun orbits the earth in three steps (Pena 2004) in the first step takes possession of the sky; in the second step takes possession of the sea, and in the third one, penetrating the sun the interior of the earth takes possession of the Other World .
